Luis Emmanuell Lopez-Oviedo, “Emmanuell,” is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts. Emmanuell holds a Master’s degree in Science in Counseling Psychology from Carlos Albizu University, Puerto Rico, and has gained a vast amount of therapy experience over the years. Emmanuell specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults, in both individual and family therapy settings. His work, particularly with Spanish-speaking families, children, and adolescents, has focused on depression, anxiety, anger, isolation, trauma, mood swings, defiant behavior, and codependency. His therapy work experience also includes supporting adolescents and adults in counseling groups and counseling adults through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Emmanuell’s favored therapy approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, and Reality Therapy. On a personal note, Emmanuell enjoys working out at the gym and watching horror movies in his free time.
