Juan Colon Torres

Juan Colón-Torres holds a Master of Science in Counseling in Psychology from Carlos Albizu Campos San Juan, Puerto Rico, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. He has seven years of experience working with families and guiding them in improving their relationships by understanding each other’s emotional and behavioral needs. Throughout the past seven years, Juan has provided family therapy, individual therapy, couple’s therapy, and has provided psychoeducation to adults and minors on how to improve their behavior and functioning in any life domain (home, school/career, or community).

Juan has offered services to Spanish-speaking families based on cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma therapy, grief therapy, and behavior management skills for individuals with ADHD symptoms.

Juan is supervised by an independently licensed supervisor.
