Noretza Rivera
Noretza Rivera is a bilingual therapist. She has experience working with victims of domestic violence as well as diagnoses such as obsessive-compulsive disorders. Taking into consideration their hardships, every client is treated with dignity and empathy. This is always a priority for their emotional well-being. Noretza is experienced in using models of intervention such as, the strengths perspective, CBT, and cognitive-behavioral model.
Noretza provides care to individuals of diverse backgrounds. She approaches this with empathy. Noretza has broadened my clinical experiences through clinical internships and volunteer programs overseas. She has worked extensively with individuals who have experienced grief through crisis intervention. Grief can trigger many different and unexpected emotions. Understanding that each individual's grieving process is unique is important.
Noretza is supervised by an independently licensed supervisor.
